Jack Grant (16-5) discusses his vacant lightweight title fight against Agy Sardari (12-2) at Cage Warriors 119 on Dec. 12. Jack also spoke about how he got into MMA, training with a new camp for this fight and a potential call up to the UFC with a victory. While Grant understands the opportunity at hand, he’s not looking ahead to the UFC just yet.
“Obviously Cage Warriors is a ticket to the UFC. It seems to be that way. But if I’m being honest, I only ever think about the task in front of me. It doesn’t interest me until there. The only thing that interests me is rocking up on December and getting that belt. Then I’ll think about options from there. The only thing that ever excites me the challenge in front of me.
