Beginning in February 2021, LION FIGHT will showcase its top talent and budding young stars exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS. A minimum of 10 Lion Fight events will air on UFC FIGHT PASS, highlighted by upcoming events in Europe and launching with three consecutive fight cards in the United States.

The inaugural LION FIGHT on UFC FIGHT PASS event will be Lion Fight 63 taking place on Friday, February 12th in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The six-bout main card will start at 9 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. MT / 6 p.m. PT.

Tickets for Lion Fight 63 are on sale now exclusively available at LIONFIGHT.com.

“Strategically, it makes great business sense for LION FIGHT to partner with the biggest name in combat sports to increase our fan base and showcase the most exciting stand-up fighting style in the world,” said Scott Kent, Founder & CEO of LION FIGHT.

“LION FIGHT has already established itself as the premier Muay Thai promotion in the world having promoted 62 events in seven countries, and the opportunities with our partnership with UFC FIGHT PASS are unlimited.”

The three upcoming events in the United States are subject to the presiding commission’s guidelines regarding COVID-19, including a reduced capacity for the live audience inside the venue.

While the COVID-19 global pandemic has wreaked havoc with scheduling, LION FIGHT is aggressively forging ahead with plans for Europe in 2021. The LION FIGHT schedule is slated to feature events in Spain, Scotland, England, Italy and France. As for the U.S. portion of the schedule, LION FIGHT will make its much-awaited return to Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. Details on those events will be released in the near future.

“I want to thank Crowley Sullivan and Stephen Tecci at UFC FIGHT PASS for putting together the deal to bring LION FIGHT on board,” added Kent.

“I believe in their vision for UFC FIGHT PASS and LION FIGHT will continue to showcase the best Muay Thai fighters in the world.”

At ringside for the LION FIGHT on UFC FIGHT PASS broadcasts will be long-time combat sports voice Sean Wheelock on play-by-play alongside 11-time world champion and Muay Thai Hall of Famer Nathan “Carnage” Corbett with expert analysis.

“With LION FIGHT on UFC FIGHT PASS, this opens up the sport of Muay Thai to the world and puts LION FIGHT in position to be the leading Muay Thai promotion globally,” said Corbett.

“It is exciting and inspiring that Muay Thai is about to be launched onto the biggest platform of martial arts in our time. Fighters, current fans and new viewers will now have the opportunity to watch the very best in Muay Thai.”

Lion Fight 63 – George vs. Tramell tops inaugural event on UFC FIGHT PASS

Lion Fight’s debut on UFC FIGHT PASS takes the organization to Cheyenne, Wyoming, for the first time. It is also the first title defense for reigning North American Cruiserweight champion Joey “Furious” George (7-2) as he stands across from challenger Chris “Head Trauma” Tramell (8-2). George, who fights out of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, bested former title-holder Brett Hlavacek at Lion Fight 58, overcoming a broken arm to earn a dominant five-round decision. Tramell makes his long-awaited organizational debut as the heavy hitter from Austin, Texas, completes his comeback from a devastating motorcycle accident suffered while competing in Thailand.

The co-main event will see undefeated fan favorite Jake Peacock (4-0) take on Marcos Vasquez (9-3) in a welterweight showdown. Originally from England and now fighting out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Peacock has blasted through his previous rivals with three first-round knockouts and a second-round finish. The one-armed fighter will get his stiffest test to date, though, in Vasquez, a native of Bolivia who now fights out of Silver Springs, Maryland.

The Lion Fight 63 main card boats what is sure to be a crowd pleaser in the light heavyweight division as Washington “WashingThai” Luis Dos Santos (22-1; San Antonio, Texas) clashes with Lion Fight newcomer Lowrant-T “Smash” Nelson (12-2; Denver, Colorado). Two other main-card bouts are a women’s featherweight matchup as Natalie “Lady Kill Face” Morgan (7-3; Los Angeles, California) battles Candice “Candi Crush” Mitchell (13-3, Washington, D.C.), and at super featherweight, Colorado rivals Dan Wilson and Alen Dudo will go head-to-head.

Additional bouts for Lion Fight 63 will be announced shortly.

Lion Fight 63 is promoted in partnership with Sparta Sports & Entertainment.

Lion Fight 64 – Walker puts belt on the line plus heavyweight title tournament

Lion Fight’s first venture into Kansas is quite literally the “biggest” event in company history. Topping the marquee is the return of undefeated double-champion Steve “Put ’Em To Sleep” Walker (8-0). Walker holds the Lion Fight World Super Cruiserweight champion, and at Lion Fight 64, he will defend his North American title as he faces Texan Marcus “Money” Sursa (6-3). Walker won the World title with a clear-cut five-round verdict over Australia’s Chris Bradford at Lion Fight 58. The Boston, Massachusetts, product won the North American title at Lion Fight 42 and followed his first pro title win with a pair of devastating knockout victories, besting Kristaps Zile via fourth-round head-kick and Bader Ferdaous with a fifth-round barrage of punches.

The road to crowning the first-ever Lion Fight North American Heavyweight champion begins in Hutchinson, Kansas with a pair of semi-final matchups in the four-main tournament. Top-seeded Cody “The Freight Train” East (5-1; Albuquerque, New Mexico) will take on newcomer Terrance “El Jefe” Hodges (6-1; Atlanta, Georgia) in the opening semi-final, with the second semi pitting crowd favorite “Bazooka” Joe Stripling (5-1; Wilmington, Delaware) against veteran Warren “Destroyer” Thompson (10-8; Atlanta, Georgia).

Combined, the title fight and tournament semifinals bring nearly 1,500 lbs. of man-made Muay Thai power into the Lion Fight ring.

Additional bouts on the Lion Fight 64 card include ring-entrance diva Andy “The CrAsian” Nguyen (1-1; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina) facing “The Lovely” Crystal Van Wyk (pro debut; Atlanta, Georgia) in a women’s flyweight tilt, Kansas’ own Cody “Black Shark” Moberly (23-15), who had a pivotal role in the Showtime documentary Prison Fights, matched up against Michael “Iron Boy” Triana (6-1; Worcester, Massachusetts) in a lightweight feature, and an all-Kansas super middleweight showdown as “Half Ass” Chance Thackston (3-1) goes up against Cody Carrillo (8-3).

Ticket information will be announced shortly for Lion Fight 64, which is promoted in partnership with Never Surrender MMA.

Lion Fight 65 – Two titles up for grabs with Aragon vs. Romero & Whitley vs. McClatchie

Lion Fight makes its return to Cheyenne, Wyoming, with a pair of championship bouts topping the bill. In the main event, Josh “El Gatto” Aragon (16-4) defends his North American Welterweight title for the first time as he faces Will “Leon” Romero (19-7). Aragon, who fights out of Los Angeles, California, captured the title at Lion Fight 57 with a decision verdict over Marcos Vasquez and then won a superfight showdown against Road to Lion Fight Argentina winner Damian Segovia at Lion Fight 61. Romero, who lives in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada, will be making his promotional debut, but he brings a wealth of big-fight experience including three fights under the Bellator banner.

The co-main event will see the crowning of the inaugural Lion Fight North American Women’s Lightweight champion as Angela “Riptide” Whitley (11-1; San Juan, Puerto Rico), who went five rounds against former World champion Jorina Baars, takes on Taylor McClatchie (18-1; Ottawa, Ontario,

Canada). The main card will also feature high-end prospect Kaleb Hunter (4-1; Winston-Salem, North Carolina) taking on promotional newcomer JD Harwick (3-1; Denver, Colorado).

More bouts will be added in the near future, including the organizational debut for recently signed prospect Adrian Weathersby.

Lion Fight 65 is promoted in partnership with Sparta Sports & Entertainment.
