Unbeaten Jack Shore draws Hunter Azure at UFC’s April 10 event

A bantamweight clash between Jack Shore and Hunter Azure is the latest addition to the UFC Fight Night event on April 10.

Cageside Press was the first to report the bout. No location or venue has been announced for the event.

Shore, the former Cage Warriors bantamweight champion, remains unbeaten after submitting Aaron Phillips in the second round at UFC on ESPN 13 this past July. The 26-year-old’s only other octagon victory came in his promotional debut, a third-round submission victory over Nohelin Hernandez at UFC Fight Night 160 in September 2019.

Shore was slated to face Khalid Taha at UFC on ESPN 17 last November, but was forced to withdraw due to visa issues.

Azure most recently rebounded from his first professional loss to Brian Kelleher by defeating Cole Smith via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 176 in September.

The Montana native is 2-1 in three UFC appearances, earning a decision win against Brad Katona in his octagon debut at UFC Fight Night 158 in September 2019.

He earned his UFC contract after besting Chris Ocon by unanimous decision on Dana White’s Contender Series in July 2019.
