James Bochnovic gets call to UFC 213 on one week notice

James Bochnovic (8-1) will get the call to the UFC on short notice to compete at UFC 213, July 8 in Las Vegas.

Bochnovic has not lost a fight since his professional mixed martial arts debut in 2014 where he lost to Josh Eckman. Since then Bochnovic has finished eight straight fights all by way of submission or TKO.

His most recent  came June 3 at Wisconsin Xtreme Cagefighting where he submitted Wayman Carter via first round armbar to record his eight professional win.

The 28-year old middleweight out of Rothwell MMA is making a dramatic leap on short notice.  Will he be able to find the key ingredient to success on less than two weeks notice?

There is no official word yet as to whom Bochnovic will replace, however if you take a look at the official fight card, you will see there are not many middleweight fights, and if his Facebook post below is any indication…. there is only one middleweight fight on pay-per-view.
