Javier Baez, former pro MMA fighter, defends himself against attacker with 14-inch knife – VIDEO
Javier Baez, a former professional MMA fighter, is happy to be alive today after a random man attempted to attack him with a 14-inch knife in Miami, Florida.
The attack, which happened at approximately 4 a.m., the day after Halloween, was captured by security cameras and shows the accused Omar Marrero attempting to injure Baez with the weapon.
Luckily, Baez was able to restrain the alleged attacker until Miami-Dade police arrived, who arrested Marrero.
Marrero was charged with two battery felonies and has pleaded not guilty.

Baez, who last fought professionally in 2018, holds a 5-2-1 record.
