Jessica-Rose Clark wants boxing match with Paige VanZant
Former UFC fighter Jessica-Rose Clark (Jessy Jess) has her eyes set on a potential boxing match will fellow former UFC fighter Paige VanZant.
The two ladies fought in the octagon in 2018 with Clark getting the nod on the judges’ scorecards.
During a recent appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Clark said she would like to entertain a rematch with 12-ounce gloves.
“I want to rematch Paige VanZant in boxing,” Clark said. “I know she’s spoken a lot about wanting to rematch me. I have zero desire to fight bare-knuckle. But if I can get her to…I know she’s making so much money off of her fan sites and everything. I see that she wants to fight again and I think it needs to be the right opportunity for her to be excited about it…that could be the opportunity if we can get the right promotion behind it. I think it would be a massive fight.”
Clark has a Muay Thai bout scheduled this weekend against Karen Cedillo. The September 23 fight takes place under the Lion Fight banner.
VanZant meanwhile is making a fortune as a social media influencer, recently stating that she earns more on OnlyFans than she did in all of her fights combined.
