Joe Stripling: He doesn’t know how to fight going backwards

Delaware born and bred Muay Thai specialist, “Bazooka” Joe Stripling has been on overdrive as of late. Between establishing his dynamic Muay Thai school in Newark, Delaware, Chok Dee Athletics that has been thriving. All the way to his fight career skyrocketing in the past year from the cartwheel kick heard round the world against Heath Harris at Gut Check Championship Series, to his intense showdown on CBS Sports with Cody East at Lion Fight Promotions which could’ve gone either way. Stripling has remained active and classy in both win and defeat.

Stripling was scheduled for a rematch against East for Lion Fight 58 which takes place this Saturday, August 17th, however, an injury forced East out of the bout and replaced by Ontario based fighter, Mirza Hopovac for he and Stripling to scrap in the opening bout of the CBS Sports televised card.

I made the 5-minute trip down the road visit my old pal, “Bazooka” Joe at his Chok Dee Athletics headquarters to catch up with him about his thoughts on his highly anticipated return to Lion Fight in just a few days against Mirza Hopovac. Tune in as Joe Stripling and I go head to head in this exclusive interview!
