Josh Parisian to meet Alan Baudot at UFC’s June 25th Fight Night

Heavy hitters Alan Baudot and Josh Parisian are set to meet at UFC’s June 25th Fight Night.

Parisian announced the bout on his Instagram yesterday, stating “June 25th!! Made and continuing to make big changes to improve and get back on track to where I want to be!”

Parisian (14-5-0) defeated Chad Johnson on the 2020 season of Dana White’s Contender Series to earn his UFC contract. Since then, he has gone 1-2 inside the octagon with his sole win coming by way of a split decision over Roque Martinez.

In his most recent walk to the octagon, he suffered a third-round TKO to Don’Tale Mayes at UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Daukaus.

Come June 25th, Parisian will be matched with Alan Baudot, who will be looking to secure his first win under the UFC banner.

Baudot (8-3-0, 1 NC) holds seven finishes of his eight wins but has yet to be able to secure a victory within the UFC. In his three bouts with the organization, he has been met with tough competition in Tom Aspinall, Rodrigo Nascimento, and Parker Porter.

His bout with Nascimento was ultimately ruled a no-contest and he suffered defeats to number 6 ranked Aspinall and rising heavyweight contender Porter.

The MMA Factory alum will get a chance to snap his winless streak in the three-round heavyweight showdown.

Also on the card will be the anticipated flyweight bout between Tim Elliot and Amir Albazi, and women’s strawweight contenders Vanessa Demopoulos vs. Jinh Yu Frey.

As the card develops, we will keep you updated here at MyMMANews.
