Juan Adams signs with ARES FC following UFC release
“The Kraken” has a new home
Following his recent release from the UFC, heavyweight Juan Adams (5-3) will now fight for ARES Fighting Championship. Last week, Adams posted on social media that he had learned of his release from the UFC through his manager.
“Spoke with the manager and I’m not in the UFC anymore,” Adams said. “As easy as it would be to give up, I’m going to keep going. I made the changes too late and now I have to pay for that but I have the right pieces in place now. I will continue Hoping and working for the best moving forward.”

Adams earned his spot on the UFC roster after defeated Shawn Teed in the very first round while competing on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2018. He would go on to win his UFC debut with a third round victory over Chris De La Rocha, but then dropped his new three bouts including a UFC 247 bout to Justin Tafa on February 8.
Ares Fighting Championship will hold ARES 2 on April 3 at the Forest National-Vorst Nationaal arena in Brussels, Belgium. France’s Nordine Taleb (15-7) will take on Belgium’s very own Maarten Wouters (11-7) in a middleweight main event. In the co-main event, UFC veterans John Moraga (19-7) and Hector Sandoval (15-4) will collide in the flyweight division.
