Justin Gonzales on Kai Kamaka III bout: I’m going to “F**k him up”

Bellator 279 takes place this Saturday and will feature a crucial featherweight bout between Justin Gonzales and Kai Kamaka III

Gonzales (12-1-0) is the 9th ranked featherweight in Bellator. After a successful debut with the promotion, he lost a unanimous decision to 4th ranked Aaron Pico at Bellator 271.

Following the loss, Gonzales feels that now it is his time to shine. As he walks to the cage this Saturday, he says he is ready for anything.

In his pre-fight scrum, he explains, “if I gotta beat this dude up on the feet, then so be it, I’ll beat him up on the feet. If I gotta wrestle him, break him down, then that’s what’s gonna happen.”

“In my eyes, I’m just all-around better than him, so I’m gonna f**k him up,” Gonzales says.

Standing across the cage from Justin Gonzales will be 27-year-old Kamaka (9-4-1). He will walk into the cage coming off of a win that came against John De Jesus at Bellator 272. Come Saturday, Kamaka will be looking to remain undefeated in the Bellator cage.

Bellator 279 is to be headlined by women’s featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg vs. Arlene Blencowe and co-headlined by top five bantamweights Juan Archuleta vs. Raufeon Stots
