Kai Kamaka III and Justin Gonzales meet at Bellator 279

Bellator 279 has yet another outstanding bout as Kai Kamaka III meets Justin Gonzales.

It will be a homecoming for the “Fighting Hawaiian” as he returns to Honolulu, Hawaii for the Bellator 279 event. 

Following spending a year under the UFC banner and going 1-2-1 with the organization, Kai Kamaka III (9-4-1) made the move to Bellator in 2021. In December, Kamaka III defeated John De Jesus at Bellator 272 via a unanimous decision and will be looking to get another win in the Bellator cage as he takes on Gonzales. 

Former LFA featherweight champion, Justin Gonzales (12-1-0), is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Aaron Pico at Bellator 271. In his two Bellator bouts, he has gone and even 1-1, with his sole victory coming over Ty-wan Claxton.

Both men will be looking to prove themselves to be contenders in Bellator’s featherweight division. 

The bout takes place on the stacked April 23rd Bellator 279 card in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Lightweight: Yancy Medeiros vs. Emmanuel Sanchez
