Justin Jaynes finishes Frank Camacho in UFC debut

The world’s largest MMA promotion is back in Las Vegas, Nevada for the fourth-consecutive week tonight, Saturday, June 20.

UFC on ESPN 11 takes place inside the UFC Apex and is headlined by heavyweight contenders Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov. The co-main event features a featherweight clash between Shane Burgos and Josh Emmett.

Headlining the ESPN+ portion of the preliminary card is a lightweight matchup between Frank Camacho and newcomer Justin Jaynes.

Camacho is 1-1 since moving back to lightweight. He most recently suffered a first-round submission loss to Beneil Dariush at UFC on ESPN+ 20 in October 2019. He finished Nick Hein via second-round TKO in his UFC lightweight debut back in June 2019.

Camacho tipped the scale at two pounds over the lightweight limit, forcing him to give up a portion of his purse to Jaynes. Jaynes replaces Matt Frevola, who was forced off the card after he cornerman, Billy Quarantillo tested positive for COVID-19.

Taking the fight on three-days notice, Jaynes is riding a four-fight win streak. He most recently finished James Warfield-Lane by first-round  TKO at WXC in May 2019.
