Justin Tafa previews his upcoming UFC 284 fight against Parker Porter
Justin Tafa cannot wait to fight in Australia at UFC 284.
Typically, Tafa, like all foreign fighters, have to go through a process just to get to fight night.
That process includes the typical training camp, media rounds, etc. However foreign fighters have to get visa’s to travel, long flights, massive change adjustments, food changes and everything that goes with entering a new country.
Now for the first time since 2019, Tafa gets to fight in Australia and he’s going to enjoy having the closest thing to home field advantage a fighter can have.
This moment comes at a good time for Tafa as it’ll be his first fight since 2021 and in that time off he was able to have a few surgeries to help heel up his body.
Now Tafa is feeling great, training hard and he’s ready to impress his home country.
At UFC 284, Tafa will fight Parker Porter, who believes this fight is going to be a slugfest and Tafa agrees with his opponent.
Prior to the matchup, Tafa spoke to MyMMANews about his return to the octagon, his matchup with Porter and getting to fight on the same card as his brother, who will be making his UFC debut after recently fighting in the RIZIN promotion.
You can watch his full interview in the video above.
