KASAI Elite Grappling Championships is heading to the Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York on December 9.
KASAI announced they will be doing a eight-man 155lb round robin tournament.
The tournament will crown the organizations inaugural Lightweight champion. The tournament features:

The Kasai Pro will be 6-minute bouts over two round-robin style brackets. They will be using the IBJJF point system and all submissions will be legal. Their also will be a group of undercard matches that will also be announced soon too.
In addition to the 8-man tournament, there will be a headlining superfight rematch between two newly crowned ADCC champions. Gordon Ryan who won the-88 KG division will be taking on Yuri Simoes who won the -99KG division at the ADCC “Olympic” Championships in Finland this past September. Ryan and Simoes competed against each other last year at the Eddie Bravo Invitational 6 where Ryan won by rear naked choke in overtime. Ryan beat Simoes in the semifinals at EBI 6 and then went on to win the tournament by beating Rustam Chsiev via Rear-Naked Choke. Ryan and Simoes match at the KASAI Pro will be a submission only 10 minute scrap with 6 minutes of overtime. You do not want to miss this one!
KASAI President, Rolles Gracie announced a partnership with FloGrappling.com earlier this week. KASAI now hopes to be mentioned with other great Jiu Jitsu organizations like Polaris, Fight To Win Pro, and The Eddie Bravo Invitational.
