KB Bhullar “surprised” with UFC release, looks to bounce back at Unified MMA 40

Interview with KB Bhullar above

KB Bhullar (8-2) discusses his light heavyweight fight against Anton Tokarchuk (4-4) at Unified MMA 40 on August 14.  KB also explains why this fight is at light heavyweight, teammate Tanner Boser’s impressive finish over Ovince Saint Preux and being released from the UFC after just two fights.

“After I got released from the UFC, I was kinda just really pissed off. I wanted to get back to action right away. It was terrible, it sucked. I guess the thing is that I can’t get too caught up in it because skill-wise I know I belong. But in the end, I have to look at this as an opportunity to upgrade, cultivate more experience and get more fights. My ultimate goal is to get back there. I was definitely surprised (by the release).”
