Keaneo Moyer tests skills with Terrance Saeteurn at Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat 7 on January 13th.
Moyer once again appeared on Bowks Talking Bouts and touched on several subjects ahead of this one. Excerpts from our chat are below.

Moyer perceiving this contest as the biggest fight of his career so far
“It’s just being able to fight on such a big platform like UFC Fight Pass. That is a huge deal in itself. Because I have the availability to fight in front of millions of people. Whether they’re there or not, they can tune in and watch me. That is a huge thing and then also being able to fight another undefeated fighter. I haven’t fought an undefeated fighter since my second fight and I ended up taking a loss in that fight. That was the last time I actually fought on UFC Fight Pass.”
“Yeah, that was my biggest fight in my pro career back then and now this is my biggest fight of my pro career again. Just the aspect of it’s on UFC Fight Pass, fighting another undefeated fighter. I’d say there’s a lot of doubters right now coming from my side. There’s a lot of doubt. Especially because of my last couple fights. So yeah, I’m really excited to go out there and just show how much I’ve evolved. Prove that I am one of the top flyweights in the world.”

Moyer’s thoughts on Saeteurn’s stylistic attributes
“I’ve been following Terrance since he was an amateur. Because he’s from California so he’s kind of been on my radar. Thought maybe one day I would fight him. I didn’t think it was going to be this early in our careers. Thought maybe down the line like we’d fight for a world title or something like that. But I’m kind of glad that it is happening so early in his pro career.”
“I’d say from following his amateur career and his pro career, he’s done a really good job like whoever his coaches are have matched him up very well. I wouldn’t say that he’s going in and like cherry-picking his fights. He does fight good opponents. But he’s not fighting the high-ranked opponents that I have. I have a huge, huge advantage over him with the experience level. My last opponent that I just fought was 4-1.”
Moyer continued, “The only guy that he lost to was a 5-0 pro and that was for LFA, that’s a very huge promotion. Jesse Tafoya, the guy that I lost to, he trains at Jackson Wink MMA. At one of the best gyms in the world and his record is the same as mine now. When I fought him, I was 3-1 and his record was 4-3. Looking at his record, you might think that he might not have the best record but he has also fought the best fighters. Now ever since beating me, he’s on a big win streak. I’ve really fought the best fighters since even in the amateur days.”
