Kelly D’Angelo talks about Invicta FC 31 fight with Lindsey VanZandt: “The Old Kelly is Back!”

Sean Lennon from The Fightlete Report interviewed Missouri Native/Invicta FC women’s atomweight competitor Kelly D’Angelo.

D’Angelo talks about her upcoming fight with Lindsey VanZandt at Invicta FC 31 this Saturday, September 1 on UFC Fight Pass.

Kelly talks about changes she made to her camp and coming down to atomweight from strawweight, being a fulltime firefighter, training along side her husband, and what she enjoys doing outside the cage.  She also has a victory over current UFC women’s straweight Emily Whitemire by submission (guillotine choke).

D’Angelo trains at St. Charles MMA and BJJ. Lastly she’s a recipient of the 2017 Fightlete Report Regional MMA Awards for “Women’s Fighter of The Year”.
