Kenny Omega is one of the biggest stars in the professional wrestling industry. Currently working with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), the 35-year old Canadian-born Japanese star dropped a social media post on Monday that would leave many trying to guess what his next move is.
Omega took to his official Twitter account where he shared a photo of himself in front of the ONE Championship logo. He wrote the following caption:
“Made some new friends before returning to America. You’ll probably see more of us in the future. #oneesportsgg #TNT #AEW.”

While ONE Championship is arguably Asia’s largest mixed martial arts promotion, it does not appears that the connection between the two has to do with Omega actually competing in MMA.
Looking at his #oneesportsgg hashtag, it looks as if this fit will be in the gaming industry. Omega is known to be a very avid gamer in his off time.
Last year ONE Championship and Dentsu Inc., Japan’s largest global advertising agency, agreed to launch ONE Esports as a joint venture.
ONE Championship announced the official launch of Asia’s largest esports world championship series earlier this year with ONE Esports’ first confirmed events of the 2019-2020 season.
