Kevin Holland says he’s fighting Darren “The Dentist” Stewart at Sept. 19 UFC event
Kevin Holland got creative in announcing his upcoming fight.
From his dentist’s office, Holland posted an Instagram video announcing a middleweight matchup with Darren “The Dentist” Stewart. The two are set to face at UFC’s Sept. 19 card, which goes down inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It’s another quick turnaround for Kevin Holland, who is coming off a “Performance of the Night” bonus with a third-round TKO win against Joaquin Buckley at UFC on ESPN+ 32 on Aug. 8. Holland is the winner in his last two octagon appearances, finishing Anthony Hernandez by first-round TKO at UFC on ESPN 8 in May.
Stewart won three out of his last four bouts. On the same card where Holland beat Buckley, Stewart earned a “Performance of the Night” bonus, submitting Maki Pitolo in the first round.
He re-entered the win column after the UFC granted him a fight outside of the promotion. Stewart lost via unanimous decision to Bartosz Fabinski at Cage Warriors 113 this past March.
He came into the bout with back-to-back decision wins against Deron Winn and Bevon Lewis.
