Lea Bivins signs with ONE Championship, makes pro debut against Zeba Bano
ONE Championship has signed women’s Strawweight prospect Lea Bivins and is set to make her professional mixed martial arts (MMA) debut against Zeba Bano at the upcoming ONE 159 event in Kallang, Singapore, set for July 22, 2022, according to report from Adam Guillen Jr. of MMA Mania.
Bivins, 19, went 3-0 in the 2019 IMMAF Youth MMA World Championships in the 16-17 year-old bracket. The California native has no other amateur bouts on her record.
According to Guillen’s report, Bivens “currently trains with reigning ONE Championship 115-pound Atomweight champion, Angela Lee, ex-Welterweight champion, Christian Lee, and Victoria Lee.”
Her opponent, “The Fighting Queen” Bano is 23-years-old out of Haryana, India, and coming off a first-round submission loss to Nat Jaroonsak at ONE: 157 in May.
