LFA 108: Josh Fremd believes Gregory Rodrigues is great test on if he is ready

Interview with Josh Fremd above

Josh Fremd is one of LFA’s brightest stars, he is 3-0 inside the LFA cage, all by way of 1st round finish. Fremd has the vacant middleweight title in his sights, and this Friday, he will battle Gregory Rodrigues in hopes of becoming LFA’s newest champion.

“This title means a lot,” Fremd began. “I think every single past middleweight (LFA champion) all went to the UFC after. I think the opponent regardless of the title is going to tell me, myself, now I’m ready, can’t be denied. He is a very good prospect,” Fremd continued. “For the title or not this opponent is going to be am I ready? I think I am, so let me go show it.”

Fremd believes Rodrigues is the toughest test for him to date. Rodrigues stands at 8-3, a winner in 7 of his past 8. His lone loss in that span was on Dana White’s Contender Series. Fremd believes this fight in itself could be a UFC fight waiting to happen.

“This fight could be on the UFC,” Fremd told MyMMANews. “That is how good both of us are. LFA you are getting it for free. Prediction is I’m going to knock Gregory out. I promise you it is not going to the judges.”
