Loopy Godinez talks UFC Vegas 43 win & keys to staying active
Loopy Godinez wasn’t shy about her game plan in the lead up to UFC Vegas 43 as she said that wrestling would be the key to victory.
When she stepped inside of the octagon with Loma Lookboonmee, she executed her game plan and left the octagon with a unanimous decision win.
While Lookboonmee was difficult to take down in the opening round, Godinez would land several takedowns in round two and three to pick up her second win in just over a month.
Godinez is now coming off a modern UFC record for shortest time in between three fights as it she made three octagon appearances in the last 43 day. Along that stretch, she also became the first UFC fighter in modern era to fight twice in seven days, which is also a modern record.
Following her win over Lookbooneme, Godinez talked with MyMMANews and about her performance and she also discussed her recent activity and what the keys to staying active are.
You can watch her full interview in the video above.
