Lydia Warren discusses her viral TikTok from Hooters; gives update on MMA career

Lydia Warren is living the life of an up and coming fighter.

While she spends hours in the gym at Jackson Wink MMA training and getting better each day, she also has to work another job in order to get by and chase down her dreams.

When Warren isn’t in the gym, she works as a waitress Hooters in Albuquerque, NM and recently that’s where she has been getting a lot of media attention.

One day at work, a customer was allegedly taking pictures of Warren and her fellow co-workers so Warren called the man out.

Using her TikTok account, Warren posted a video that went viral as she embarrassed the man and his friends for taking pictures.

“This guy wants to come into Hooters and just take pictures of girls without asking so, I’m [going to] make you feel uncomfortable, too,” Warren said in her trending TikTok video.

After posting the TikTok, the video blew up. Right now, over 1.8 million people have watched the video and the New York Post did an article on it as well.

Warren isn’t making too much of the media spotlight she’s gotten from the video as she would much rather make noise in the sport she loves, and she is hoping to fight again soon.

Most recently, Warren made her professional MMA debut in the iKON FC promotion, which is ran by UFC superstar Jorge Masvidal. In that fight, Warren picked up a unanimous decision win over Sydney Smith and felt great through the course of her 15-minute contest.

Now the plan is to try and be as active as possible.

Following the viral video, Warren spoke with MyMMANews to discuss the attention the TikTok has been getting, her training at Jackson Wink MMA and her plans to fight again soon.
