Lydia Warren talks first pro win and training at Jackson Wink MMA

Lydia Warren is officially 1-0 as professional.

Over the weekend, Warren finally made her pro debut for the iKON FC promotion, which is ran by UFC fan favorite Jorge Masvidal.

In her bout with Sydney Smith, Warren was able to easily take round one by securing a takedown and not allowing Smith back up. In the second round, things were close, but Warren was able to squeeze it out before dominating the final round on way to a clear cut unanimous decision win.

The debut win was along time coming for Warren, who was born and raised in North Carolina before making the move to Albuquerque, N.M. to train at the world famous Jackson Wink MMA Academy.

Now that Warren has her first pro win under her belt, she plans on racking up a lot more as she is planning on staying active and hopes to fight an upcoming iKON FC card in August or September.

Following her win, Warren spoke with MyMMANews about her first pro win, having Masvidal as a boss, training at Jackson Wink and her friendship with her teammate and former UFC bantamweight champion Holly Holm.

You can watch her full interview in the video above.
