Maurice “The Gorilla” Jackson always down to compete…Up next is Xtreme Fight Night on UFC Fight Pass

Interview with Maurice Jackson above

I spotted Maurice “The Gorilla” Jackson training in Philadelphia with my good friend Justin Haskell, my radar went off.  What could Maurice be up to?  Looking at his resume, it could have been a number of things.  Jackson has been in the cage eight times to fight mixed martial arts, including an appearance at Bellator.  He is a GLORY Kickboxing veteran and has a long list of kickboxing bouts to his name.  The Gorilla has also competed twice for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.

Please check out our interview above as he enlightens us to Xtreme Fight Night (XFN).  Maurice will be competing in an 8-man kickboxing tournament that will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass on August 7th. Jackson told us …

“It was the Mike Tyson vs Michael Spinks that made me fall in love with combat sports and made me want to compete.  Seeing Iron Mike come out with no shirt got me hyped up and from that point on I dove into the fighting and fell in love with the competition.  I don’t even know who the other guys in the tournament are and I don’t care.”

That sums up Maurice Jackson.  Get him a cage, ring, or a squared circle and let him loose.  Check in on UFC Fight Pass on August 7th to see how he does.
