Maverick MMA 17 Headliner Travis Foster Believes He’s “Terrible Matchup” For Chike Obi

Travis Foster (5-11) discusses his welterweight fight against Chike Obi (0-3) in the main event of Maverick MMA 17 on Sept. 25.  Travis also talks about how he got into combat sports, training at Jackson/Wink MMA and why it’s going to be a long night for his opponent.

“This is a terrible matchup for him. I feel like he’s looking at my record. probably underestimating me because of my lopsided record. Without revealing too much, I feel like I’m a terrible matchup for him, and not just him … and not just for him, 95% of the guys on the regional scene. There’s not many regional fighters who have 18-pro fights.”
