Michael DeLouisa set for pro debut at Ring of Combat 69

After a 6-1 amateur career, Michael DeLouisa has earned his professional MMA license and will enter the cage and earn a paycheck for the first time on September 13 at Ring of Combat 69 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  The event is hosted by Louis Neglia and Dead Serious Promotions at their usual spot in the Showroom of the Tropicana Hotel and Casino Resort.  DeLouisa will take on Timmy “Vicious” Tyler whom he faced in 2017 and finished in the first round with an arm triangle choke.

I caught up with the Driven Gym prospect this Labor day weekend for a chat.  Please check out our interview with Michael DeLouisa above.  Mike tells me about how he fell in love with the sport and how his strong team helps motivate him.  We also touched on whether or not he will be over confident being that he submitted Tyler in just over a minute in their first meeting.  Mike is also a proud father of a nine month old boy and is happy to say that his little one has been cooperating very nicely and letting him sleep through the night.  That rest does a body good especially when you are working full time, training for your professional debut, and still being a loving father and partner to the mother of his child.

Stay right here as MyMMANews will be in attendance for live results and a full recap. ROC 69 will also be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.
