Mickey Gall wanted a quick turnaround after his loss to Mike Perry in July. Now Gall got his wish.
MMA Fighting was first to report that Gall and Miguel Baeza will fight in a welterweight bout on the UFC’s Sept. 19 fight card.
Gall (6-3) started his UFC career with two wins over CM Punk and Sage Northcutt. Since then he’s flip-flopped wins and losses. In the stretch he’s lost to Randy Brown, Diego Sanchez and Mike Perry. His wins in that period came over George Sullivan and Salim Touahri.
Baeza (9-0) is unbeaten in his professional career and is coming off a huge TKO win over Matt Brown in May. The Brown victory marked his second win in the UFC. His first came over Hector Aldana.
