Miranda Maverick breaks down her UFC 260 win; wants Antonina Shevchenko next

Miranda Maverick is now a ranked UFC fighter.

Coming into her UFC 260 main card bout against Gillian Robertson, Maverick was hoping a win would help her crack the the flyweight rankings. After 15 minutes of an action filled fight, Maverick got the better of Robertson and left the octagon with a unanimous decision victory.

Robertson came into the fight ranked No. 15 in the world by the official UFC rankings and Maverick was hoping to take her spot in the rankings since she secured the win last Saturday. The 23-year-old prospect got her wish when the rankings updated at the beginning of the week as she is now ranked No. 15 in the world.

Fresh off her win and her newly ranked position, Maverick spoke to MyMMANews about being a ranked fighter and she also broke down her fight with Robertson.

Aside from the fight, Maverick laid out her future. Right now she is busy finishing up school and is in the middle of a semester. Maverick is going to finish out the school year and then get back inside the cage over the summer. She hopes to book herself against Antonia Shevchenko.
