NCAA Wrestling: No. 1 Minnesota vs. No. 2 Iowa Meet For Historic 100th Dual

NCAA Wrestling Team Scores After Session 1

After one session, Iowa jumps out to first with a 1.5 lead as their wrestlers go 8-1 in the first session. Snagging 10.5 bonus points helped them climb to 18.5 points and a first place position.

Ohio State trails by only 1.5 points scoring only 7 bonus points, but advanced all ten of their wrestlers in the tournament.

Penn State is in third place after one session with 9 bonus points. They advanced seven of their nine wrestlers and will have two in wrestle backs moving forward to score them points. Their 16 points have them in a third-place position after one session.

Michigan and NC State round out the top 5. Michigan with 13 points, giving them a fourth place position. They advanced seven of their eight wrestlers and earned six bonus points. NC State sits at fifth with 12 points. They advanced eight of their nine wrestlers and scored five bonus points.
