Nick Diaz coming to East Coast……. Or Is He? Events scheduled for July 29 – 30

After a near month long online assault by Rivoli’s Grill and Chill owner Tony Rivoli, it appears that the previously scheduled East Coast tour with Nick Diaz is back on track.

Diaz, who was supposed to be in New Jersey and Pennsylvania earlier this month for seminars, viewing parties, and appearances during UFC International Fight Week and UFC 213, received a great deal of backlash after he no-showed the events.

Rivoli became frustrated and irate after Diaz and his camp did not return calls, and pre-paid money to include the cost of a flight and down payment were not returned.  Rivoli took to social media to unleash a series of videos where he demanded that Diaz “make it right.”

After talk of lawsuits and confusion as to where the money actually went or whether Diaz was actually even aware of the first scheduled trip, several of the events have been rebooked for this coming weekend.

Diaz himself posted a video announcing the dates.

The new schedule includes:

Seminar MMA Signatures Jiu Jitsu Academy
564 Main Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360
Saturday, July 29th 1-3pm

Rivolis Grill & Chill
8 Ramtown-Greenville Road, Howell, N.J.
UFC 214 Viewing Party July 29th 9p-12am

Sports Fever
Palisades Mall, West Nyack, NY
Meet and Greet, Sunday, July 30th 2-4

Whether Diaz actually gets on the flight and shows up will remain to be seen, but if you would like to take your chances the seminar is $75 in advance or $100 at the door. Call 570-872-1444 to reserve your spot.
