Ode Osbourne and Zarrukh Adashev Set to Meet in June

Promising flyweights Ode “The Jamaican Sensation” Osbourne and Zarrukh “The Lion” Adashev will face off at the UFC’s June 4th Fight Night

The June 4th Fight Night will take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will feature Dan Ige vs. Movsar Evloev as the main event.

But before Ige and Evloev make their way to the octagon, Osbourne and Adashev will try to get another win on the big stage.

Osbourne (10-4, 1 NC) is coming into the fight with a 2-2 record under the UFC banner. After defeating Armando Villarreal by way of an armbar on Dana White’s Contender Series 2019, he gained a well-deserved UFC contract.

He made his official UFC debut in 2020 and suffered a defeat at the hands of Brian Kelleher. In his most recent outing, he met C.J. Vergara and won the bout via unanimous decision. Despite going 2-2 in the UFC thus far, the 30-year-old is still a promising flyweight entering his prime.

That said, he will be matched with another tough flyweight in Adashev. The 29-year-old from Uzbekistan holds an MMA record of 4-3 and has gone 1-2 in the UFC since he was signed. In July of 2021, Adashev defeated Ryan Benoit via unanimous decision. Nearly one year from his last walk to the octagon, the elite kickboxer will return in an action-packed flyweight bout.

As of now, the June 4th Fight Night card includes:

Featherweight: Dan Ige vs. Movsar Evloev

Women’s Flyweight: Poliana Botelho vs. Karine Silva

Flyweight: Jeff Molina vs. Zhalgas Zhumagulov

Flyweight: Ode Osbourne vs. Zarrukh Adashev
