‘The Spartan’ Oli Thompson has parted ways with Bellator MMA and it seems the split could not have come at a better time for the heavyweight fighter from England.
After losing back-to-back fights to Matt Mitrione and Chieck Kongo inside the Bellator MMA cage, the organization has released Thompson from his contract, but it would appear that he is just fine with that.
Thompson wrote on Twitter tongiht: “Relieved to of ended my relationship with @BellatorMMA , treating fighters like shit.”
He then went on to say, “Some guys involved that I like but poor treatment.”
The two losses with Bellator MMA came in his only two fights with the organization. He currently holds a professional record of 17-10.
Thomspon is a former holder of the title Britain’s Strongest Man. He also had two fights with the UFC.Follow MyMMANews.com on Social Media
