Oli Thompson discusses upcoming bout with Cheick Kongo at Bellator 172

Oli Thompson has fought for the best promotions in the world, against a who’s who list of opponents.

On February 18th, Thompson has a guaranteed war against another heavy handed striker in Cheick Kongo at Bellator 172 in San Jose, CA. Thompson is coming off of a back and forth battle TKO loss to Matt Mitrione whom will headlining the main event.

To Thompson’s credit, he stepped in on two weeks notice for that particular contest without a proper training camp.

Now, “The Spartan” is back after taking time for a full training camp to focus on taking out Kongo and climbing the Bellator rankings.
