ONE 158 fight card announced, Pacio vs. Brooks title fight rescheduled
A plethora of hungry stars are gearing up for ONE Championship’s next blockbuster event.
On Friday, 3 June, the world’s largest martial arts organization returns to the Singapore Indoor Stadium with ONE 158, which will be headlined by a Muay Thai showdown with World Title implications.
Unfortunately, Joshua Pacio vs. Jarred Brooks for the ONE Strawweight World Title has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict.

The new main event features pound-for-pound striking superstar Tawanchai PK.Saenchai taking on exciting Danish fighter Niclas Larsen in a pivotal featherweight Muay Thai showdown.
Tawanchai has looked phenomenal since joining the promotion’s all-striking league, ONE Super Series.
The 23-year-old Thai phenom, who holds a jaw-dropping 126-31-2 career record in Muay Thai and kickboxing, showcased his devastating arsenal in a pair of impressive victories.
He first knocked out Sean Clancy with a highlight-reel head kick and then finished #1-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender Saemapetch Fairtex with a left hand.
Now, Tawanchai has moved up to his more natural weight class, owns the #5 featherweight Muay Thai ranking, and hopes to earn a World Title shot against reigning divisional king Petchmorakot Petchyindee.
But standing in his way is Larsen, the reigning WBC Super Welterweight Muay Thai World Champion.
The 32-year-old intends to get his 63rd career victory, stop his opponent’s hype train, and get the next crack at Petchmorakot.
Also at ONE 158, #2-ranked bantamweight MMA contender “Pretty Boy” Kwon Won Il will square off against #4-ranked Fabricio Andrade.
Both competitors have been calling for the next shot at ONE Bantamweight World Champion John Lineker, and an impressive victory in Singapore could cement that opportunity.
Kwon, who owns an 11-3 record with a 90 percent finishing rate, is riding a three-bout winning streak. Most recently, he knocked out former bantamweight titleholder Kevin Belingon.
Meanwhile, Andrade holds a 7-2 record, owns a 72 percent finishing rate, and finds himself on a six-bout winning streak.
Following his 97-second knockout win over Team Lakay’s Jeremy Pacatiw, the Brazilian declared himself the uncrowned bantamweight king, and he hopes another incredible showing will lead to the real thing.
In addition to those explosive bouts, ONE 158 will feature the return of 17-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida in a mixed martial arts contest.
Almeida has been spectacular since making the switch to MMA. The grappling sensation has already earned a pair of first-round submission victories, and he’ll look to remain flawless against Australia’s Simon Carson.
The 3 June card also features the return of #2-ranked flyweight MMA contender Kairat Akhmetov, #5-ranked flyweight MMA contender Reece McLaren, and a clash between heavyweight kickboxing monsters Rade Opacic and Guto Inocente.
