ONE Championship’s Victoria Lee Wins Breakout Star of the Year for 2021

Victoria Lee wins Breakout Star of the Year for ONE Championship’s 2021 awards.

The young sibling of current ONE Atomweight champion Angela Lee and former ONE lightweight champion Christian Lee really showed tremendous potential throughout this past year.

The 17-year-old combatant has already shown a stunning multiplicity of martial arts skills. This across just a few professional fights so far.

Victoria Lee went 3-0 across her 2021 campaign, currently has a one hundred percent finishing rate, and truly showed why her nickname is The Prodigy.

Victoria Lee Wins Breakout Star of the Year

The decorated amateur mixed martial arts champion made her highly anticipated pro debut in February of this year. Sunisa Srisen was the debut opponent for Lee and ended up falling in the second stanza via rear-naked choke at ONE: Fists of Fury.

Lee’s sophomore effort inside the ONE Circle saw her win via a first-round armbar. The second pro-MMA victory came over Wang Luping in July at ONE: Battleground.

Finally, Victoria Lee won her third professional mixed martial arts bout against Victoria Souza in September. This victory came via second-round TKO at ONE: Revolution. This contest saw Lee put the first blemish on the pro record of the 5-0 Souza.

It was quite a year for the young Lee. She now looks to extend her record to 4-0 inside the ONE Circle. As we encroach further along into this New Year.

With Stamp Fairtex vs Angela Lee for the ONE Atomweight world championship in early 2022 and all of the fall out from the ONE Atomweight Grand Prix, it’s certainly an exciting looking year for the division.

Especially on the localized level of seeing how far the budding prospect Victoria Lee can advance within that weight hierarchy. This as her older sister returns after giving birth to defend her crown.

What are your feelings on Victoria Lee winning ONE Championship’s Breakout Star of the Year in 2021?
