ONE X adds bantamweight Muay Thai title fight, Nong-o and Alaverdi Ramazanov set

The already loaded ONE X event just got a little more loaded. The promotion adds another title fight as bantamweight Muay Thai champion, Nong-O Gaiyanghado, is set to take on former kickboxing champion Alaverdi Ramazanov in a Muay Thai event. The card takes place on March 26th in Singapore and will be available on pay per view.

Nong-O has had a fantastic time in ONE Championship and is riding all the momentum going into ONE X. He’s won five straight fights with his last two being spectacular knockouts. He has a record of 262-54-1 and has captured belts in ONE, Rajadamnern and three in Lumpinee. His last fight was a round three knockout over Rodlek in December of 2020.

Alaverdi Ramazanov has had good success in ONE Championship as well. The former featherweight champion notched his first win in ONE Championship over Ogenjen Topic. Unfortunately, he lost his belt in January 2021 to Petchyindee with a second round knockout. But he rebounded against Pongsiri last November with a first round knockout.

Alaverdi Ramazanov and Nong-O were originally booked to fight in March of 2020 when Ramazanov had the kickboxing belt that Nong-O was after. That event was ultimately canceled due to COVID-19. Now, the two fill finally face off, albeit in Muay Thai instead of kickboxing.

Building ONE X

In addition to Nong-O and Alaverdi Ramazanov, ONE X is looking like a massive card already. The special rules bout between Muay Thai legend, Rodtang, and MMA legend Demetrious Johnson has been rebooked for this card. Champion, Stamp Fairtex, and Angela Lee are also set for a title fight on the card. Finally, Adriano Moraes, who knocked out Mighty Mouse in his last fight, is set to defend his belt against Yuya Wakamatsu at ONE X as well.
