Pavel Dailidko “not looking to rush” against Salim El Ouassaidi
Brave CF and Hexagone MMA will come together to co-promote a fantastic show going down in Nantes, France.
The main event will see the Brazilian Lucas Martins travel to enemy territory to face Ylies Djiroun this Friday, September 7, at the H Arena, in Nantes.
In the co main event French pioneer Anthony Dizy steps in at short-notice to face four-time combat sambo world champion Vladyslav Rudniev in the Lightweight co-main event of BRAVE 74 X HXMMA 11.
Another showcase bout between Pavel Dailidko and Salim El Ouassaidi takes place on the main card, a tussle between two powerhouses. Lenny from MYMMANEWS had the chance to talk to Pavel before his fight this week.
Fighting out of Boston, England, but originally from a small village in Lithuania, Dailidko’s road to professional MMA went through a lot of different sports, including basketball and bodybuilding.
But it wasn’t until he stepped inside the cage for the first time that he found his true calling: punching people in the face for money. His opponent Salim El Ouassaidi is coming of the back of his most important win to date against former UFC heavyweight Antonio “BigFoot” Silva.
At BRAVE CF 74/Hexagone MMA 11, Pavel will once again be fighting a home crowd favorite. In his BRAVE CF debut, back in October of last year, he was booed in Bahrain when he faced Shamil Gaziev, and the same thing happened in Slovenia at BRAVE CF 70.
That time, however, Dailidko was able to silence the Slovenian fans by delivering a brutal KO of the previously undefeated Podkarjsek, something he will look forward to repeating when facing El Ouassadi in France. Big thanks to Hexagone for helping with this interview, make sure to watch the event go down this THURSDAY live from Nantes, France.
