PFL 2 full post-fight press conference

PFL 2 was a big night for the promotions new signee Rory MacDonald.

The former Bellator welterweight champion and UFC title challenger picked up a first-round submission victory over Curtis Millender in the main event of Thursday’s fight card.

MacDonald got an early takedown and immediately took the back of Millender and locked in a choke to not only give him the win, but he also picked up six points in the PFL season standings.

Also earning six points in the 170 pound division was Ray Cooper III. Cooper defeated Jason Ponet in the opening round of their co-main event without even landing a punch. Cooper picked up Ponet and slammed him hard to the canvas and from there he locked in a rear naked choke, which forced Ponet to tap out.
