PFL 5 line-up released: Bruno Cappelozza vs. Matheus Scheffel to headline
PFL 5 is set
As the second round of the Professional Fighter Leagues’ 2022 regular season draws closer, they have finalized and released the fifth event of the season.
Taking place at the Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, PFL 5 will go live on June 24th.
Set to headline the event is the 2021 heavyweight tournament champion, Bruno Cappelozza. Cappelozza (15-5-0) defeated Stuart Austin via first-round TKO in the first round of this season’s tournament. He will go up against fellow Brazilian Matt Scheffel (15-8-0), who lost his first bout of the season to Ante Delija.
In the co-main event, Anthony Pettis (25-12-0) will look to score his second win with the promotion as he meets Stevie Ray (23-10-0). Pettis defeated Myles Price in his first bout of the season while Ray came up short against Alex Martinez in his.
