ONE Championship: Only The Brave
In the main event, a featherweight kickboxing Grand Prix, Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong cruised to a dominat victory over Davit Kiria. After fighting twice, Kiria still had nothing for the Thai legend, Sitthichai. Sitthichai cruised to a win where he did not allow Kiria any room to breathe or get any offense going. Sitthichai moves on to the finals of ONE Championship’s featherweight Grand Prix and faces the winner of our next fight: Chingiz Allazov.
Chingiz Allazov made a giant statement at ONE Championship: Only The Brave as he dominated “Smokin'” Jo Nattawut, another Thai. Allazov was faster and more aggressive and eventually put away Nattawut in round one. Chingiz Allazov, who is a Bellator and K-1 veteran, brought the fight to Nattawut. In the end, Allazov slipped a weary punch from Jo Nattawut and countered with a beautiful combination to which Nattawut could not reboud from. He couldn’t beat the count and Allazov would shock the entire viewing audience.
Now, Allazov and Sitthichai face off next at ONE X. The winner is set to face newly crowned ONE Featherweight kickboxing champion, Superbon, who shocked the world in knocking out kickboxing great, Giorgio Petrosyan.
Finally on the podcast, we’re talking Lipeng Zhang’s insane 32 second knockout over Ruslan Emilbek in the third fight down the card. Quick, fast and dangerous, Zhang let it be known that he’s a force to be reckoned with in ONE Championship’s lightweight division.
