Prelim Preview: Hyun Sung Park vs. Seung Guk Choi | UFC Vegas 68

The UFC returns this weekend after a week off. The main event is a heavyweight slug fest between Derrick Lewis and Serghei Spivac. But during the week, I want to give shine to some of the up and coming fighters on the undercard of UFC Vegas 68. So we will be diving into that on Prelim Preview! Today, we look at one of the finals for the Road to UFC tournament in Hyung Sung Park vs. Seung Guk Choi!

Hyun Sung Park: 7-0 Record, 3 KO/TKO’s, 3 Submissions

Plenty is on the line for Hyun Sung Park going into UFC Vegas 68. Finally at the big stage after a fast rise through the Korean regional scene, Park is a finisher through and through. Undefeated at 7-0, Park has had three knockouts and three submissions.

In the Road to UFC tournament, he’s finished fights in both rounds thus far. He defeated Jeremia Siregar in the first round with punches and then returned four months later and defeated Topnoi Kiwram via rear naked choke, also in the first round.

With a win, Hyun Sung Park will punch his ticket to the UFC and join the flyweight division. But his opponent will have something to say about that.

Seung Guk Choi: 6-1 Record, 2 KO/TKO’s

Seung Guk Choi may not look like much on paper with his 6-1 record and only two finishes. But he does know how to win. Since losing his second pro fight, Choi has gone on to win five straight and earn his way to the finals for UFC Vegas 68.

During his Road to UFC run, Seung Guk Choi has won two decisions over Rama Supandhi and Qiulun. His amateur career is something to tout as he’s spent plenty of time in Road FC, Korea’s best regional promotion.

He looks to play spoiler to Hyun Sung Park’s explosive style and earn himself the win and the contract to the UFC>
