Ramazan Gitinov, best fighter in amateur MMA history, signs with BRAVE CF

Ramazon Gitinov is a three-time world champion and left the amateur ranks on an incredible 30-fight win streak, as the number one pound-for-pound male fighter in the world.

The biggest amateur mixed martial artist of all time has a new home. Ramazan Gitinov has signed a multi-fight deal with BRAVE Combat Federation, where he will look to extend his amateur dominance into the professional realm.

BRAVE Combat Federation has long provided the most talented mixed martial artists with a global platform to shine, often producing life-changing results. And Gitinov will look to follow the footsteps of several amateur superstars who have signed for BRAVE CF in the past, such as Muhammad Mokaev, Axel Sola, and Jose Torres.

The 26-year-old star has earned virtually every accolade achievable on the amateur circuit during his 33-fight run. The combat sports phenom is only one of three athletes to secure three amateur world championships, as well as winning another four gold medals in the IMMAF circuit.

Gitinov cemented his triple gold status at this year’s World Championships after his impeccable showing in the Welterweight division in Belgrade, Serbia, during the BRAVE Serbia International Combat Week in February. As one of the most well-rounded athletes to come out of the amateur ranks, Gitinov has shown he’s comfortable with his world-class wrestling or with his ever-improving striking, which has caused problems to some of the finest amaeur fighters in the world.

Ramazan left the amateur scene as the number one pound-for-pound male fighter, and his performances also helped his national team achieve the number-one spot on the IMMAF senior national team rankings list.

He also played an imperative role in helping the Kingdom of Bahrain secure the inaugural and ground-breaking MMA Super Cup last year. Gitinov has only ever lost two fights, with his last defeat coming in 2017. He has since been on a 30-fight win streak and aims to carry that momentum into BRAVE Combat Federation, where he will chase new glory on the global professional circuit, where he’s expected to fight at Lightweight.
