Mike Perry vs Daniel Rodriguez is reportedly being charted out for an early second quarter UFC event.

Agreements are purportedly in place on both sides for this welterweight bout. This clash is set to go on a card without a specified location/ venue as of this writing.

Fighter Path initially reported details on this April 10th prizefight. Multiple sources close to the situation confirmed the news to MMA Fighting under the condition of anonymity.

Mike Perry debuted with the UFC at UFC 202 when he finished Hyun Gyu Lim with strikes in the first frame. Since that inaugural octagon foray in August 2016, he has posted a .500 record having gone 7-7 under the UFC banner.

Platinum Mike Perry stared his MMA career on a nine fight win streak but has had varying results during his tenure under the brightest lights.

Perry has gone 3-6 across his last nine bouts. His last outing in the cage saw him lose via unanimous decision to Tim Means in their November bout at UFC 255.

Platinum holds significant victories over competitors such as Jake Ellenberger, Paul Felder, Alex Oliveira, and Mickey Gall.

Daniel Rodriguez was riding a three-fight win streak in the UFC before taking his first defeat in the octagon to Nicolas Dalby at UFC 255 in November. This was Rodriguez’s last outing and he looks to get back to his winning ways in his first bout of the calendar year.

Rodriguez cut his teeth on several notable circuits before entering the UFC including KOTC, Bellator, and Combate Americas.
