Road to UFC Results and Highlights
The UFC began its “Road to UFC” tournament last night which features top MMA fighters from across Asia battling it out for their shot at the big show.
The show consists of four episodes, streamed on UFC Fight Pass with the first two episodes taking place yesterday.
Here are the results of the first two episodes:
Episode 1:
Featherweight: Yi Zha def. Keisuke Sasu via first-round submission
Lightweight: Ki Won Bin def. Jinnosuke Kashimura via first-round TKO
Bantamweight: Toshiomi Kazama def. Maimaitituoheti Keremuaili via unanimous decision (30-27 x2, 29-28)
Flyweight: Seung Guk Choi def. Rama Supandhi vis unanimous decision (30-27 x3)
Light Heavyweight (non-tournament): Zhang Mingyang def. George Tokkos via first-round KO
Episode 2:
Featherweight: Koyomi Matsushima def. Jun Young Hong via split decision (28-29, 30-27 x2)
Flyweight: Qui Lun def. Wallen Del Rosario via unanimous decision (30-27 x3)
Lightweight: Jeka Saragih def. Pawan Maan Singh via thrid-round KO
Flyweight (non-tournament): Takeru Uchida def. Shaun Etchell via first-round submission
