RODRIGUEZ READY TO ROCK PLYMOUTH WHEN HE MEETS HALEY AT CES 39
For the third time in four CES MMA cards, Quincy’s Mike Rodriguez is back in the cage at CES MMA 39 on November 4 in Plymouth, Mass.
This time the red-hot, dynamic Lauzon MMA product looks for his fourth straight stoppage victory at the expense of New Hampshire’s Kevin “The North Woods Nightmare” Haley.
“I can’t wait,” said Rodriguez, 5-1, with a big grin. “A lot of fighters talk about wanting to stay this busy, and I’m definitely one of them. I’m really grateful for this opportunity, and I can’t wait to end my busy year with a bang.
“I definitely expect another stoppage victory on my resume by the end of the night.”
Not so fast, interjected Haley.
An overpowering #Bellator vet, Haley is riding high with back-to-back victories and is a tough assignment for any light-heavyweight in the Northeast.
“I don’t think Mike has ever fought anyone as big and strong as me,” said the two-time CES MMA vet. “If he takes me lightly at all, he’s going to be in for a long night.”
