Roxanne Modafferi breaks down her win over Maycee Barber and talks about the fight’s crazy aftermath
Roxanne Modafferi is coming off of a crazy week at UFC 246. The 45-fight veteran went into a fight with hot prospect Maycee Barber concentrating solely on the fight. The aftermath though, has been quite crazy.
The fight peaked at 1.9 million viewers on ESPN and as a result ended up being a hot topic following the event. Modafferi ended up beating Barber by unanimous decision in a dominant display.
Barber injured her knee during the fight and blamed that on her loss. Modafferi thought otherwise and explains the results of the fight as well as choosing not to kick her in her injury.
Modafferi also discussed the legacy she hopes to leave behind in the sport as well as what she thought of Barber’s dad’s comments post fight.
