Roxanne Modafferi vs. Viviane Araujo Targeted for January 2021
Sources have confirmed to MyMMANews that the UFC is targeting a January 30, 2021, women’s flyweight bout between #7 ranked Roxanne Modafferi and #8 ranked Viviane Araujo. The UFC has not yet confirmed the fight or the location of the card.

The 38-year-old ‘Happy Warrior’ in Modafferi would enter the contest following a unanimous decision win over Andrea Lee in September. Her combined professional mixed martial arts record is 25-17-0 and she is coached by John Wood out of Syndicate MMA in Las Vegas.
Araujo, 33, also racked up her latest win in September, a unanimous decision win over Montana De La Rosa. Her pro record currently sits at 9-2.
