Scott Holtzman retires after UFC Orlando loss, 13 fights with the promotion

Scott Holtzman, 39, has retired from professional mixed martial arts competition following a split decision loss to Clay Guida at UFC Orlando on Saturday night.

Holtzman, whose pro MMA record sits at 14 wins and six losses fought 13 times for the UFC during the span of seven-plus years.

While competing inside the UFC octagon, “Hot Sauce” Holtzman racked up seven wins opposite six losses.

He holds victories over the likes of Jim Miller, Dong Hyun Ma, Alan Patrick, Darrell Horcher, Michael McBride, Cody Pfister, and Tony Christodoulou.

Losses include last night’s close call against Guida as well as defeats from Mateusz Gamrot, Beneil Dariush, Nik Lentz, Josh Emmett, and Drew Dober.

Holtzman’s pro career began 10 years ago in 2012.
