“Senor Perfecto” Bill Algeo now meets Herbert Burns at UFC Long Island

“Senor Perfecto” Bill Algeo has announced via social media that his opponent Billy Quarantillo has pulled out of their fight scheduled for July 16th’s UFC on ABC 3: Rodriguez vs Ortega.

Algeo (15-6) was given no reason for the withdrawal, and also named his new opponent for the card as Herbert Burns (11-3).

Burns was also slated for the UFC card taking place on Long Island, New York next weekend but he too saw his originally scheduled opponent, Khusein Askhabov, also withdrew from competition.

Burns hasn’t been in the Octagon since August of 2020 and has been rehabbing a seriously injured knee.

Algeo will be making his fifth UFC appearance and has gone 2-2 while bringing an entertaining striking and style to the Octagon. The featherweight match-up is on the preliminary card.
